Welcome to Gaba's Weskeag Kennel. We are a small, home-based kennel located in Mid Coast Maine. I
had my first litter of Labs about 8 years ago. My mother had bred German Shepards and Labs when I was a child.
She also consistantly competed in Obedience trials and put titles on many of her dogs while I watched ringside and slowly
learned. Soon I was able to compete in Jr. Show Competitions and tried obedience. I took to the breed
ring, where my mom had not had as much interest in the past. Upon moving into my own home, I brought Symphony, who has
passed, and Mariah, the foundation girl for Gaba's Weskeag Kennel. With alot of help from my mom, I started breeding
and showing MY OWN dogs. I have now had 13 successful litters and put titles on Mariah and Julia. Charlotte
joined our family on the 3rd of January 2007 and I hope to incorporate her into our breeding and showing program soon.
My mother and I are both hoping that my daughter will follow in our footsteps one day..........

All of our dogs live in our home and are well socialized with children and other animals.
We are located about 1.5 hours from Portland, ME and 3.5 hours from Boston, MA.
